  3. Enter your blog information:
    • Blog Name
    • Blog url
    • Feed url (to find this, simply click on the RSS Feed button on your blog. You can then copy and paste the RSS Feed url.
    • Linking blogs. This is optional, but helps establish the strength of your blog. Up to three can be entered.
    • Site description. Up to 1000 characters, where you can profile your site content, history and authors.
    • Site Categories. Choose up to 3 categories from 40 available. This helps put your site where it will be found.
    • Site tags. Here you can enter up to 18 site tags, to help your site be found.
Click: Proceed to the next step.
  4. You will arrive at a page that reads: Blog Claim Status, advising that it will take quite a while to evaluate. Click on "Return to Profile".
  5. Scrolling down to your newly claimed blog, click on "Check Claim".
  6. On the "Claim Status" page, you will see an alpha numeric code. Simply copy and paste the code claim token into the title of a NEW post. Once you post it, return to Technorati and click Verify Claim Token. Now, it goes against common sense to post a code that won't make any sense to your readers, as a headline – but this is the only way its done. Once your claim code is found, you can delete the post. The reason for this is to ensure that you are the blog owner.
  7. Once the code shows as verified, it can take anywhere from hours to weeks. With your blog claimed, you can now track progress, and enjoy the increased traffic that being connected to the world's largest blog search engine will bring.
